CEO Jin Byung-wook shared KNS's business achievements and future growth strategy in an interview with EDaily.

KNS has expanded its presence in the defense sector by winning the Republic of Korea Navy's Maritime Operational Satellite Communication System (MOSCOS)-II project, and has been recognized for its technical competitiveness as the only domestic company capable of designing and manufacturing a diverse range of military satellite communication antennas.

In addition, the company's second growth driver — the flat-panel ESA (Electronically Steerable Antenna) for low-Earth-orbit satellites — is currently undergoing network testing with global satellite operator OneWeb. Once the certification process is complete, KNS plans to begin trial production in the second half of this year, followed by full-scale mass production in early next year.

The interview also introduced KNS's plans to expand into overseas markets across the Middle East, Asia, and South America, building on these achievements, along with its IPO timeline — beginning with institutional investor demand forecasting from July 27 to 31, with the company targeting a KOSDAQ listing in August.

As a company leading the global satellite communication antenna market, KNS will build on the technology proven through its naval projects to expand into army, drone, and low-Earth-orbit satellite communication applications, growing into a core company of next-generation satellite communication systems.
