Submarine Antenna KNS Inc. Secured more than USD 29.6 Million-dollar contract with DAPA for Korean Navy Maritime Program KNS Inc. (CEO/President - Kevin Jin), a global company in the field of satellite communication antennas and solutions, proud to announce on October 11th, 2024 that KNS Inc has signed and secured a contract to supply satellite antenna systems related to the “Maritime Operations Satellite Communication System-II (MOSCOS-II) Procurement Project for Korean Navy led by the Korean Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA). The “Maritime Operations Satellite Communication System-II “ procurement Project is a 92.8 billion KRW(USD 68.7 Million) project aimed at replacing the aging Maritime Operations Satellite Communication System-I. KNS Inc. has signed a supply contract worth 40 billion KRW(USD 29.6 Million) with KT(Korea Telecom) the main contractor of MOSCOSS-II, and will exclusively supply satellite communication antenna systems for both land-based control stations and ground stations, as well as mobility systems on surface ships and submarines over the next three years starting in 2025. In addition to supplying satellite communication antenna systems, KNS Inc. will also provide installation and maintenance services, supporting the Korean Navy's communication system for following 20 years, thereby contributing to strengthening national defense.
